Rust

Mörbisch’s neighbouring village. Storks can be seen here on chimney pots. It is also known in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, because of a TV-series called “Winzerkönig” (roughly translated “the king of the wine growers”) which was filmed here between 2005 and 2009.

Eisenstadt

Capital of Burgenland. Josef Haydn once lived here and his music is played on a regular basis in the castle Esterhazy. Always worth visiting. (about 20 minutes by car)
